As of September 2025, Fairmont Machinery is no longer the exclusive distributor of Eagle Lasers in the US. After seven successful years as Eagle’s largest distributor in the world, differences in strategic vision have caused us to part ways. We are proud to have brought the Eagle brand to prominence in the US market and wish Eagle nothing but the best in the future.

For our existing Eagle customers – there is nothing to fear. We have retained the contractual right to provide service and spare parts for existing customers in perpetuity – along with the same level of software access needed for our industry leading service. This means, for you, nothing changes. The same phone number, same inventory of spare parts and the same great service.

But this does not mean Fairmont Machinery is done with laser. Quite the opposite.

Today, US customers are faced with a choice when purchasing a new fiber laser.

High-end suppliers offer (usually) reliable machines with US based service and support. While this support is often lacking, it is present. But this comes with a hefty price tag.

The best Chinese suppliers have caught up to the high-end western suppliers technologically in recent years and offer machines at a fraction of the price. But they struggle to spec safe machines and service is non-existent.

At Fairmont, we are imagining a new alternative. We have partnered with China’s biggest laser brand and the world’s highest volume laser supplier to specify a new line of lasers built to our design. Across the US, we will back this new line with Fairmont industry leading service and support – hotline, parts inventory and applications support.
